We’re getting closer to the big day! Only 3 more days to go!

As the temperatures begin to fall and the weather becomes a bit cooler, it’s actually a fantastic time to take the Halloween celebration outdoors. It’s also much easier to social distance and stay away from close contact if you move your Halloween activities to an outdoor location. Here are a few ideas from our friends at the CDC on how you can celebrate the Halloween season with a little outdoor fun.

  • Visit an orchard, forest or corn maze. Bonus: These activities usually involve snacks like apples or kettle corn! Grab a bag and enjoy at home once you’ve washed your hands or used hand sanitizer.
  • Go on an outdoor Halloween-themed scavenger hunt.
  • Visit a pumpkin patch or orchard. Remember to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently, especially after touching frequently touched surfaces, pumpkins, or apples.
  • Go to a one-way, walk-through haunted forest or corn maze.

Whichever you decide, don’t let the spooky specter of COVID-19 take away from your fun!
